Argis By the Numbers: 2022
Our biggest accomplishment for 2022 was substantially growing as the premier Rocky Mountain region GIS services provider. Winning the IMGIS Partner Award for innovation, obtaining our third Esri specialty, the Federal Small Business specialty, and having our augmented reality case study featured in the spring issue of Esri News for State and Local Government also top our list of achievements for the year.
Argis by the Numbers
In 2022, our team:
Spent over 8,250 hours coding
Built 21 custom tools for ArcGIS Pro
Built 107 map layers
Built 50 FME workbenches
Learned 4 new programming languages
But don’t worry, we also had time for some fun! Between everyone on our team, we:
Hiked a whopping 901 miles
Spent 37 nights sleeping under the stars, everywhere from Alaska to Colorado and Texas
Read 81 books (as true-blue nerds, we skew heavily towards non-fiction)
Continued Growth + Happy Clients
2022 brought many projects focusing on ArcGIS Enterprise implementation for both cloud and non-premises solutions. We worked extensively on implementing custom hardware for mobile applications.
Even with all our growth, we still maintained stellar customer satisfaction, evidenced by returning business for nearly every client.
Empowering by Educating
We looked for creative ways to serve and inform our customers, launching our monthly Tech Tips and sharing our ArcGIS Server Checkup, a list of simple, but powerful ways to improve server functionality. But we didn’t stop there! We also talked about:
Terminology for 3D technology. It’s a word salad out there, and we thought we’d make it easier to sort through it all.
Tips for App/Play store submission. Our five suggestions for making the process as quick and smooth as possible.
ArcGIS Velocity. Processing real-time sensor data just got kicked up several notches!
2022 Esri Partner Conference and Dev Summit. We discuss the new Esri products and services that caught our attention and what our developers loved learning about (hint: data-driven visualizations and data transfer make them do a happy dance).
Solid Bluetooth Connection for Custom Firmware. Our best practices for ensuring optimal Bluetooth connection between app and device.
Transitioning Custom Tools from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro. Five tips for making the big move.
2023 is on the horizon, and we are ready to go! Exciting new developments are within reach for our evolving integration of GIS and augmented reality, and we will have new customer successes to share. We are honored to be able to help our clients achieve their vision, and so grateful to our amazing team for the passion they put into their development and GIS work.
